Can I edit my GetTerms policy?

Yes, you absolutely can edit your policy. If you wish to reconfigure your policy, you can do this as many times as you like through our platform.

If you wish to edit the contents of the policy or add your own content, you are permitted to do this also. In fact, we encourage our customers to seek independent legal advice to ensure their terms meet any industry or regional requirements that may apply to their business.

Once GetTerms generates your content, you'll be provided with several options to include your policies on your website. These include an embed script, HTML and Plaintext versions that can be copied and pasted to your website, a PDF download or a hosted version on our website.

If you would like to adapt the content yourself, you will need to use the HTML or Plaintext version and edit it outside of the GetTerms platform before adding to your website.
